Ruos Tor stands apart in a line of four tors, offering fine views north to White Tor and west to Great Mis Tor. It features boundary stones that once prevented granite theft, a flagpole linked to the Merrivale firing range, and rock basins on the summit. The tor has a distinctive character, with remnants of logan stones and a history of quarrying activity.
