Dartmoor Illustrated: A Series of One Hundred Full Page Plates of Its Scenery and Antiquities, with Some Short Topographical Notes

byT. A. Falcon

1900 · Commin, Exeter

Dartmoor Illustrated is a book of one hundred full page plates of the moor's scenery and antiquities, with some short topographical notes, by T. A. Falcon, M.A. It was published at Exeter in 1900 in a limited edition of 125 large paper copies and 300 demy 8vo copies.

The preface says it is meant to supplement Rowe's Perambulation of Dartmoor and other descriptive works, and that it offers neither guidance nor instruction but merely a reminder. The list of plates includes Assacombe, Beardown Bridge, Bennett's Cross, Bowerman's Nose, Crockern Tor and Cranmere.
