Hart Tor (Okehampton Common), at SX 6011 9114, is a small broken granite outcrop on a low hill beside the south-west wall of East Okement Farm, at the end of the military road. The main rocks are mostly square and flat with horizontal fissures, and a small flattened outlier lies about 50 m south across the road. It was formerly called East Okement Farm Tor.

Observation Post 22 of the Okehampton range is built to the edge of the tor, and Tim Jenkinson (2002) describes the tor as completely overshadowed by it. Views run north to Yes Tor, West Mill Tor and Row Tor, and east to the Belstone Tors. Hill, Hole and Corner nearby are named after it, and Dartefacts lists Okehampton boundary stones nos. 12 and 13 at Hartor Corner.

This is the northern of the two Hart Tors. The other, 390 m on Walkhampton Common in the south-west, is known for stone rows, a hut circle settlement and tin workings rather than military buildings.
