Hart Tor sits on Okehampton Common as a modest granite outcrop of squared, horizontally fissured blocks. Located beside the south-west wall of East Okement Farm at around 436 metres elevation, it marks a distinctive feature of the landscape that has given its name to Hart Hill, Hart Hole and Hart Corner in the area. The tor offers views north towards Yes Tor, West Mill Tor and Row Tor, and east to the Belstone Tors.
