Chagford
Providence Methodist Chapel, established in 1839, is one of the oldest chapels in the West Devon Methodist Circuit and the Methodist presence in Chagford.
The deserted medieval settlement at Challacombe: at least seven buildings along a track, one with its walls intact and three rooms, first recorded in 1481 as Chalvecombe, five tenements by 1613 and lived in until at least 1880.
The medieval strip fields of Challacombe Down with Scudley Beam, a tin openwork 75 m wide and 15 m deep, two stamping mills, part of the Golden Dagger Mine dressing floor of about 1927, hut circles, a reave and a cairn.
