Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1010657) describes a cairn with a cist on a north-west-facing slope north of Whittenknowles Rocks and south of Combeshead Tor. The mound is 6 metres across and up to 0.4 metres high, with a kerb of six stones. The cist stands off-centre, running north-west to south-east, 1.7 metres long, 1.2 metres wide and 0.3 metres deep. The south-west side is made of two slabs, both sides and ends are present, and the cover stone lies on the north-east side. It lies in the parish of Sheepstor, about 1.3 km north of Eastern Tor and 2.7 km east of Sheepstor.
