Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1021331) describes a cairn on an east-facing slope above the valley of the East Dart River. It is a mound 4.8 metres across and up to 0.6 metres high. A slight hollow just north of the middle may be from robbing or a partial early excavation. It lies in the parish of Dartmoor Forest, about 0.8 km south-west of Hartland Tor and 1.6 km west of Postbridge.
