Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1017989) describes nine round cairns set in two lines on a gentle slope overlooking the valley of the River North Teign. The scheduling falls into nine areas. The mounds form a cairn cemetery, within sight of many other ritual monuments of about the same age. All are circular, 4 to 6.9 metres across and 0.4 to 1.1 metres high, and four have shallow pits in the middle from robbing or partial early excavation. It lies in the parish of Gidleigh, about 1.2 km south of Rival Tor and 3 km south-west of Gidleigh.
