Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1012473) describes a cairn with a cist in heavy bracken about 250 metres north of the outcrops of Gutter Tor. The mound is 5 metres across and 0.4 metres high with traces of two kerbs. The cist runs roughly north-east to south-west and has both side slabs and both end slabs, but the cover stone is missing. The side slabs are up to 1.3 metres long, but the end slabs are set to enclose a space only 0.9 metres long, with the side slabs running past one end slab. It lies about 100 metres south-east of an enclosure and within 300 metres of several cairns. It lies in the parish of Sheepstor, about 1 km north-west of Eastern Tor and 1.8 km east of Sheepstor.
