Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1012214) describes a cairn with a cist on a north-west-facing slope south of the Shavercombe Brook and south-east of Shavercombe Tor. The mound is 4.5 metres across and 0.6 metres high, with three stones of a kerb on its west side, up to 1 metre wide and 0.6 metres high. Three slabs of the cist remain, giving a cist 0.9 metres long, 0.5 metres wide and 0.8 metres deep. The slabs were put back in position during an excavation in 1900. Several other cairns lie close by. It lies in the parish of Shaugh Prior, about 0.6 km north-east of Hen Tor.
