Cut Hill is a remote high point in North Dartmoor, offering some of the best panoramic views on the moor. It is surrounded by wet, tussocky ground and peat hags, with a prehistoric stone row dating to 3,500 BC discovered nearby. The hill is part of a military training area and is a long walk from Postbridge, typically taking an hour and a half. It is known locally as the 'Mountain of Cut' and rises to 603 metres.
