Hangingstone Hill

Hangingstone Hill stands at 603 metres, making it one of Dartmoor's most substantial summits. It shares the distinction of joint third highest peak in Devon with Cut Hill, which lies about 4 kilometres to the southwest. The hill rises from the open moorland of North Dartmoor, its granite character typical of the high ground that defines this landscape.
