Lints Tor

Lints Tor is a granite peak in the heart of Dartmoor's eastern reaches, rising to 498 metres above sea level. The tor itself is modest in stature compared to some of its neighbours, but stands clearly enough on the open moor to serve as a useful landmark for walkers crossing this part of the plateau.
The approaches are generally easy, with paths and open moorland allowing access from several directions. The views from the summit stretch across the broad moor to other distant tors and the undulating landscape that characterises central Dartmoor. It is a quiet place, favoured more by those with map and compass than by crowds.
