North Hessary Tor is a granite hill with a prominent TV transmitter station at its summit. It offers superb views across Dartmoor, with Plymouth visible on clear days. The tor has a PCWW 1917 boundary stone embedded in the outcrop and can be reached from Princetown or Rundlestone via the newtake walls. The trig point at the top provides some of the finest views in the national park.
