South Hessary Tor is a smaller, often overlooked tor with a distinctive cobra-shaped granite outcrop. It sits near a well-used cycle track and was one of the boundary points in the 1240 Perambulation. The tor is also known as Lookout Tor and Tor Royal, and it offers good views towards Sheepstor and Longaford Tor. The path to it is clear and leads from Princetown, making it accessible for walkers.
