Sea Vixen crash site, Flat Tor Pan
Chagford
Where Sea Vixen XN648 of 766 Naval Air Squadron crashed on 31 May 1965 after a spin from 28,000 ft. Both crew ejected and survived. The crater is now a pond among the Dartmoor Mires peat restoration works.
