Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1016253) describes a round cairn near the summit of Standon Hill, looking out over Bodmin Moor and the lowland west of Dartmoor. It is a mound of stones 22 metres across and up to 1.8 metres high, built against a tor. Three hollows in the mound may be from an early partial dig, from robbing or from the building of shelters. A drystone revetment holds up the south edge, standing up to 1.3 metres high, and a similar one on the north side is 0.5 metres high. It lies in the parish of Peter Tavy, about 1.1 km north-east of Bagga Tor.
