Three stone hut circles 780m SSW of Venford Reservoir dam

Three stone hut circles occupy this moorland site south-west of Venford Reservoir. They are Bronze Age in origin, likely dating from the second millennium BC, when scattered farming communities inhabited Dartmoor's higher ground. The circular stone foundations, partially buried and weathered by centuries of exposure, mark the remains of domestic dwellings.
