Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1008656) describes a stone hut circle on the south-western edge of a hut circle settlement, on the west-facing slope of Arms Tor overlooking the valley of the River Lyd. It is terraced into the hillside, with a stone and earth wall around a circular inner area 6 metres across, the wall 0.8 metres wide and up to 0.5 metres high. The doorway is a gap in the wall facing west, sheltered from the prevailing wind by a porch. It lies in the parish of Lydford, about 0.7 km north-west of Brat Tor and 2.7 km north-east of Lydford.
