Hut circles and fields on Buckland Common represent a Bronze Age settlement scattered across the moorland. The hut circles are the stone foundations of roundhouses, their circular footprints still visible on the ground after thousands of years. Nearby are the remnants of field boundaries and cultivation terraces, showing how people organized their land and livestock on the moor.
