Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1012239) describes an unenclosed settlement of six hut circles terraced into the south-facing slope about 500 metres from Gutter Tor, to its south-west. The group runs broadly north-west to south-east, with four single huts and two joined together. The huts are 7.5 to 10.5 metres across, built of small stones and earth, with walls 1.5 to 3 metres thick and 0.5 to 1.5 metres high. Their entrances are on the south sides, and one still has its jambs. It lies in the parish of Sheepstor, about 1 km west of Eastern Tor and 1.9 km south-east of Sheepstor.
