Smallacombe Rocks

Grid ref: SX 7556 7823

On walking routes: Templer Way

Smallacombe Rocks occupy a large area between Black Hill and Holwell Tor, with granite outcrops and boulders descending to Becka Brook. A mysterious 'HOOT' is carved into one of the rocks, though it may also read 'DOOM'. The tor is often confused with Grea Tor, but it stands apart with its own distinct character and views across the valley.
