Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1021046) describes a prehistoric settlement and an irregular aggregate field system on the upper north-west-facing slope of Laughter Tor. The scheduling falls into three areas. The settlement is partly within the field system and has at least four hut circles, two of them east of the fields. They are circular or oval banks round spaces of 9 to 39 square metres, averaging 19, with walls 0.45 to 0.8 metres high, averaging 0.55. One has a visible doorway and two are butted by field boundary banks. The easternmost hut has a very unusual wall, which Historic England describes as multi-orthostatic: the inner and outer edges and the core are all made of small edge-set slabs. The fields are winding low rubble banks, some lynchetted, forming at least 11 fields added over time, and two of the huts sit in the middle of them. It lies in the parish of Dartmoor Forest, about 0.9 km south-east of Bellever Tor and 1.7 km south of Bellever.
