Eylesbarrow reave: Scout Hut stream to the tin workings

Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1010670) describes part of the Eylesbarrow watershed reave, which can be traced from Cadworthy Wood to Eylesbarrow, about 7.5 kilometres, and divides the watershed of the Plym from that of the Meavy. This part runs up the slope of Eylesbarrow from the stream north of Scout Hut at its south-west end to streamworkings that cut off its north-east end, about 1.05 kilometres in all. It is a bank of earth and stone up to 3 metres wide and 0.5 metres high. It lies in the parish of Sheepstor, about 1 km south of Combeshead Tor and 2.5 km east of Sheepstor.

It was the terminal reave for the Roughtor parallel reave and another parallel reave. It butts against both, but because they are different kinds of reave, the three are scheduled separately.
