Combestone Tor sits on the south moor between Dartmeet and Holne, with long views of the River Dart. It has distinctive rock basins on the summit, some still forming and others in decay. The tor has its own car park just metres away, making it an easy starting point for walks. An OS benchmark is cut into the south face, and there are signs of rock splitting here.
