Kerbed cairn and cist above the Langcombe Brook and the Plym

Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1012790) describes a cairn with a cist on a south-west-facing slope above the meeting of the River Plym and the Langcombe Brook. The cairn is 5.5 metres across with a kerb of eight stones up to 0.2 metres high. The cist is irregular: 0.7 metres long on the east side, 0.8 metres on the west, 0.3 metres wide at the south end and 0.6 metres at the north, and 0.6 metres deep, with its cover stone lying on the east side. A similar cairn with a cist lies across the Langcombe Brook, and there are enclosures with hut circles and a cairn nearby. It lies in the parish of Shaugh Prior, about 0.6 km south-west of Calveslake Tor.
