Foggintor Quarry lies carved into the hillside, its deep pits now filled with water and overgrown with heather and bracken. Once a major granite source in the 1800s, it was prized for its quality and workability. The quarry's remains are largely hidden by time and vegetation, with little of the original tor left, as it was largely stripped away during industrial use.
