Lydford, Okehampton
The Way of the Dead: the old route across central Dartmoor from Bellever to Lydford, said to have been used to carry the dead to be buried at Lydford church. The exact line is disputed.
Drewsteignton, Exeter
A narrow early 17th century granite bridge over the River Teign in the Teign Gorge, below Castle Drogo, once the main road between Drewsteignton and Moretonhampstead. Grade II* listed.
Two Bridges, Yelverton
A high-altitude oakwood of dwarf oaks among granite boulders in the West Dart valley near Two Bridges, now a National Nature Reserve. Visitors are asked not to enter the wood.
