Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1013424) describes a stone hut circle on a south-west-facing slope overlooking the valley of the River Meavy, an outlying part of a large hut circle settlement with an irregular field system to its east. It is terraced into the hillside, a stone and earth wall 2.7 metres wide and up to 0.7 metres high round a space 6.5 metres across, with a gap on the south side as the original doorway. It lies in the parish of Walkhampton, about 0.9 km north-west of Down Tor and 3.1 km north-east of Sheepstor.
