Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1020877) describes a stone hut circle and three lengths of bank in Longaford Newtake, on a south-facing slope above the West Dart River. The hut is a bank 1.3 metres wide and up to 0.4 metres high round a circular space 4 metres across, and a south-facing gap in the wall may be the original doorway. The three lengths of bank that lead north, south and east from it are up to 1.7 metres wide and 0.3 metres high. It lies in the parish of Dartmoor Forest, about 0.7 km south of Crow Tor and 3.1 km north of Two Bridges.
