Large hut circle, Higher Shilstone

Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1018917) describes a stone hut circle on a west-facing slope of Throwleigh Common, above the valley of the Forder Brook. It has a space 10.2 metres across inside a single upright-stone wall 1.4 metres wide and 1.3 metres high. It lies in the parish of Throwleigh, about 2.2 km north-west of Gidleigh.
