Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1017482) describes a round cairn on high ground between the Thirlstone and Watern Tor. It is a flat-topped, oval mound 5.5 metres long, 5 metres wide and 0.7 metres high, with a large granite slab marking its north-eastern edge.
