Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1010596) describes a round cairn between two rock outcrops on the summit of Yes Tor, which overlooks much of North Devon. The mound is 15 metres across and up to 1.8 metres high. It has been damaged a little by military activity, by visitors and by early antiquarian digging, and its core is exposed, showing traces of drystone walling that may be original or a later addition. A mound of material up to 2.3 metres high on a terrace just south of the cairn may be spoil from an early, undocumented excavation. It lies in the parish of Okehampton Hamlets, about 1.1 km south-west of West Mill Tor.
