Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1017873) describes a round cairn on the ridge between Higher Tor and Oke Tor, overlooking the valleys of the East Okement and the Taw. The mound is 9 metres across and up to 0.9 metres high. Several edge-set stones on the west side may show a kerb that survives buried elsewhere, and the mound material spreads 1.4 metres beyond the outer edge of the kerb. A hollow in the middle is the site of an early partial excavation, which recovered a few fragments of burnt bone. Two large stones in the central pit may be the remains of a broken cist cover stone. It lies in the parish of Dartmoor Forest, about 0.4 km north of Knattaborough Tor and 2.5 km south of Belstone.
