Round cairn near Branscombe's Loaf

This round cairn sits on the summit of Corn Ridge as part of a larger cemetery, a grouping typical of Bronze Age burial practices on Dartmoor. The cairn itself is a mound of stones raised over a burial, and its position within a cluster suggests a community burial ground used across generations.

Today it stands among other cairns on open moorland, part of the wider archaeological landscape that makes Dartmoor's high ground so rich in prehistoric remains.
