Round barrow NW of Saddlesborough

This round barrow is a burial mound dating to the Bronze Age, when Dartmoor's high ground was more intensively settled and used than it is today. The barrow survives as an earthwork on the open moorland northwest of Saddlesborough, part of a landscape scattered with similar monuments spanning several thousand years.
