Rough Tor

Rough Tor sits deep in the northern moor between Two Bridges and the firing range, where its summit is marked by military structures that give it an unusual appearance from the south. The tor itself is relatively flat-topped, and the ground around it is fairly level, which means the views outward are long and unobstructed rather than dramatic. Several walking routes lead here, from Holming Beam via Beardown Tor and Crow Tor, or from Two Bridges across the ridge past Longaford Tor and Higher White Tor. The surrounding landscape offers sightlines to Devil's Tor and other nearby tors across open moorland.
