Rippon Tor stands on the well-frequented east side of Dartmoor, offering 360-degree views of the Teign Estuary, the coast, and the moor. It is home to three large cairns, a triangulation pillar, and several rock piles. The tor is accessible from the B3387 and features a nearby rifle range on Horridge Common.
