Cosdon Hill, also known as Cosdon Beacon, is a prominent rounded hill on Dartmoor's northern edge, topped by a large cairn and an OS trig point. It has scattered granite outcrops on its western and south-western slopes, with some showing signs of ancient human activity, including a triple stone row on the east and prehistoric cairns and settlements. The views from the summit are expansive, offering a 360-degree panorama across the moor and on clear days to the English Channel.
