Cosdon Hill

Cosdon Hill, also known as Cosdon Beacon or Cawsand Beacon, stands among Dartmoor's highest points at around 550 metres. The hill carries substantial evidence of prehistoric use, including a cairn and other traces of occupation from ancient times. The site rewards a visit for anyone interested in how early people used the high moorland.
On the Western side of the hill (which can be fun to climb on a hot day) you will find a fantastic Triple Stone Row.
