Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1019271) describes a ring cairn on the north slope of Holne Ridge, an outlying part of a line of scattered cairns. It is a flat-topped mound 22 metres across and 0.9 metres high, surrounded on three sides by a bank 1 metre wide and 0.3 metres high. With the bank it measures 30.4 metres across. It lies in the parish of Holne, about 1.8 km south of Combestone Tor and 2.9 km south-east of Hexworthy.
