Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1002516) describes an enclosure, two stone hut circles and part of a coaxial field system on Shaugh Moor, overlooking the Plym valley. The enclosure is a rectangle with a bank up to 1.5 metres high, faced inside with large stones, and traces of a partly buried outer ditch. The entrance is to the south-west and the inside is level and noticeably clear of stone. Historic England takes the strength of the bank to suggest later reuse. It lies in the parish of Shaugh Prior, about 2 km north-west of Blackalder Tor and 1.1 km north-west of Wotter.
The two terraced hut circles inside are 6 and 8 metres across, with rubble walls up to 1 metre wide and 0.3 metres high. To the north-east the field system survives as two parallel reaves with cross banks, all built of large upright stones. Other remains nearby, some scheduled and some not, are outside this scheduling.
