Challacombe Down lies between Birch Tor and Blacka Tor, offering views west to Bellever Tor and east to Grimspound. A wall splits its summit, providing shelter in strong winds, while a triple stone row stands on its northern slope. The easiest approach is from the Birch Tor side, with a few granite outcrops adding character to the hill.
