Western cairn with a cist, Langcombe Brook

Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1012292) describes the western of two cairns with cists on a west-facing slope between the Langcombe Brook and Deadman's Bottom, close to the other cairn. The mound is 5 metres across and 0.3 metres high, with a kerb on its north side and a rectangular cist 0.8 metres long and 0.7 metres wide. Both end slabs and the east side slab remain, and Worth noted the other side slab and the cover stone nearby in 1890. It lies in the parish of Shaugh Prior, about 0.8 km south of Calveslake Tor.
