Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1012213) describes a cairn with a cist on a north-west-facing slope south of the Shavercombe Brook and south-east of Shavercombe Tor. The mound is 4.5 metres across and 0.5 metres high, with traces of a possible kerb. The four slabs of the central cist are in place, making a cist 0.8 metres long, 0.6 metres wide and 0.4 metres deep, and the cover stone lies displaced to the north-east. Several other cairns lie close by. It lies in the parish of Shaugh Prior, about 0.6 km north-east of Hen Tor.
