Cairn

This cairnfield on Homerton Hill consists of several burial cairns, likely raised during the Bronze Age when communities across Dartmoor built monuments to mark significant places and individuals. Cairnfields like this one are among the most visible traces of prehistoric settlement on the moor, showing where people gathered, lived, and honoured their dead.
