Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1007429) describes a cairn on a gentle south-facing slope overlooking the valley of the Colly Brook. The mound is 15 metres long by 6 metres wide and stands up to 1 metre high. Shallow hollows at the north and south ends probably come from a partial excavation by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee in 1899, which found a pit holding ashes and charcoal. The cairn is one of a widely scattered group of at least fourteen on the southern and eastern slopes of White Tor. It lies in the parish of Peter Tavy, about 0.5 km south-east of Little White Tor and 2.7 km east of Peter Tavy.
