White Hill (SX 533 838) is a small hill of about 390 m inside Willsworthy Firing Range. The rifle ranges lie just south of the summit and a flagpole stands on top. Dartefacts records a White Hill flagpole on the range and a 380 m contour ring on the hill.
The views reach west to Cornwall and Lydford Gorge. Hare Tor, Sharp Tor and Great Links Tor show from the summit, with Brat Tor and Great Nodden further round. The range land was bought in the 1900s and is marked by 46 War Department boundary stones.
Not to be confused with Whitehill Tor, near Lee Moor on the southern edge, or with White Hill beside Taw Marsh in the north, which is a prehistoric settlement site.
