Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1007546) describes two stone hut circles on a gentle east-facing slope above the valley of the River Walkham. Both are terraced into the hillside, built of rubble and have doorways facing east. The southern hut is 4.1 metres across inside, with walls 1.5 metres wide and up to 0.7 metres high. The northern hut is 6.2 metres across, with walls 2 metres wide and up to 0.7 metres high. Both lie close to a substantial Bronze Age field boundary known as the Great Western Reave. It lies in the parish of Peter Tavy, about 0.7 km north-east of Great Staple Tor and 1.2 km north of Merrivale.
