Ten hut circles, Watern Oke

Watern Oke holds the remains of ten stone hut circles, the foundations of dwellings from the Bronze Age when people lived and farmed across Dartmoor's open landscape. The settlement is unenclosed, suggesting a community that moved freely across the moor rather than one bound by visible field boundaries.
