Two-roomed hut circle, west side of the Conies Down Tor settlement

Historic England's scheduling record (list entry 1012570) describes a stone hut circle on a narrow terrace above the River Cowsic, part of a scattered settlement on the lower slopes of Conies Down Tor. It has two rooms, terraced into the hillside, with rubble bank walls. The northern room is 4.3 metres across inside, with a wall 1.1 metres wide and up to 0.5 metres high, and the southern room, with a wall of similar size, is 6.2 metres across. It stands on the west side of the settlement. It lies in the parish of Dartmoor Forest, about 0.6 km south-west of Devil's Tor.
